Is there a video cable I can purchase that will let me play my PS2 on my new computer monitor?
It doesn't have connections for the normal PS2 cable thingy.

Google has failed me, anyone try this before?

You'll probably have to use an adapter from your base cable to pull it off.

Do you have a component (should be five RCA heads) or composite (standard 3 RCA heads, red, white, and yellow) out on your PS2? And does your monitor use VGA (normal monitor cable) or DVI (usually a white input, three rows of square holes)?

I have a 3-head RCA for my PS2 and my monitor uses the DVI cable, but also came with the other kind of cable so I guess it can use either.

Here's a cheap way to do it.

Are you more concerned with video quality, or price?

Damn, that is cheap. But how does it work? What goes into what exactly? Neither of those ends looks like it hooks into a PS2, though the blue connector looks like it would connect to my monitor.

    -edit-

As far as price, I wouldn't want to spend more than 20-30$ max. Past a certain point I may as well just buy a television.

You plug the yellow end of your 3-prong RCA into the yellow part of that (you can see it better here. You may want to get some RCA extension cables for the audio, to hook into whatever speaker system you're using (you may need, like, a stereo RCA->1/8" (which is headphone jack) if you're using your computer's speakers).

For $20-30, that's about the best you're going to do that I know of. Of course, I'm no expert in PS2 adapters.
