I was actually thinking about 90s bands the other day. When you think of the most prolific bands from the 90s you think Pearl Jam most likely. But that list would also contain Deftones. I would have never thought that back then.

Stipe owned a restaurant called Guaranteed in Athens, GA where I went to college. We decided to hit it up one time for dinner. And there he was, having dinner with some friends.
I am listening to Rise Against. I didn't listen to NPR coming to work today, though I have read a chunk of WashPo already. Music is helping keep the darkness out.

crowd is going to be older, kinky, and probably not that hip, so i'm digging into some old favorites from eg Beats Antique, Romare, Glass Animals, Om Unit, and NIN

love shack is my mom's favorite song and as a kid she would do embarrassing things like grab 11 year old shark and dance with him in the living room with love shack cranked up to 11

You know I used to get mad being technically (by birth year) being lumped in with the millennial crowd, but I realize that just as I was upset because I feel there's a solid decade between us and a lot of differences, I'm not really Gen-X either because like I wasn't around to really enjoy New Kids on the Block and 80s clothes either.
are YOU on the beer list?

This is my REM story.
I used to live nextdoor to the Crocodile Cafe, who's owner/founder married Peter Buck. The band was reputed to come down for food occassionally, but never when I was in there.

@arch they can definitely be good with a lot of your warlocks, partially because they're so cheap. they don't hit super hard but being that fast as a sort of middleweight beast means they can get behind enemy lines and threaten casters and solos and just be super annoying
with Fyanna (who gives all her beasts overtake) a Neraph can take out half a unit by itself. if she puts that +3 damage buff on it, it can wreck heavies as well.
the guy i play against most often plays Legion and his Neraph did good work last time we played

W-2 came in this morning.
Already finished doing my taxes.
It almost took a whole 30 minute!
only a $10 difference from last year.
Also from the W-2 I saw the final effect of benefit costs increase as my salary dropped below 25k again.
I was so close to 26k before ;_;

One of my favorite REM tunes.

it's a more flexible version of "real talk?" or "facts"
