Like many of you, I have a job, friends. It pays the bills but it deserves to be complained about sometimes. This is the thread for that! Also the thread to talk about the good parts of jobbing I guess. Plus dealing with finding a job, of course.
My complaint for the day is: I've been sick for 3 days with a horrible cough that's caused me to have a sore throat just from coughing. Speaking is painful. I came in today anyway thinking I could just work tickets and not take calls, but my boss has said I'll have to take calls at 6pm because half our staff is out sick. I can't take a sick day because I'm maxed out from the time I was sick last year. I can't take a vacation or PHO because supervisor has already granted the max amount of those she can for today. This is my reward for forcing myself to come in while sick! I could just take the hit to my sick days but then I'd be on Phase 1 and wouldn't be able to apply for new jobs in the company if they come up.
