Ran into this in the science thread; apparently the forum BBCode parser doesn't like em- or en- dashes in URLs?
As in https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geiger–Marsden_experiment
Fortunately Wikipedia will redirect https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geiger-Marsden_experiment to the right page but it seems likely to come up more in future as sites take advantage of Unicode URLs more often.
