I was looking around the area and found The Lawn on D, and was wondering if people usually hang out there during or after PAX. It looks like a pretty cool place from what I can tell, especially for social hang outs.
Last year this is the area where there were several food trucks (in the paved area), plenty of people were hanging out. There was an event planned on the LoD last year, John Sebastian Joust?, but there was some last minute maintenance being done so the event was moved. There is nothing on the LoD calendar for March as of today.
The previous PAX that was in March it was closed for the winter. The food trucks will be in that area still but I think there is a good chance the grassy areas will be closed off.
Yeah, unless there's a real surprise with the weather it's likely that you're not going to want to spend a huge amount of time outside if you can help it.

Food trucks eh? I haven't been to East since '14, that entire area wasn't even developed yet. Or wasn't finished anyway. Looks like I'll have to check it out.
I was curious about that 'Lawn' too, so thanks.

If the food trucks are out this year, go for them. The food is often much better than convention food, and cheaper. Our trucks in Boston are not too bad.

Do you use tinder?
They shouldn't be this time of year
I thought of exactly this as soon as I saw that picture.
What's tinder...my wife would not approve of such an app...
Wasn't sure if they'd take the chair parts off, you know because of winter in Boston...I still have shoveling nightmares from two years ago...
