That's really unexpected and great news. However, I'm pretty sad about Bomberman now that I've beat it and played for longer than a few minutes. Those in game currency purchases are pure bullshit. One level takes a ridiculous amount of time to unlock nevermind the stuff you unlock after you beat the game. It looks pretty clear it was intended as an IAP that they pulled at the last minute because in order to be able to use the stages and characters, you'd need to grind through single player worlds for SO. LONG. And the worlds are boring as shit until you hit the boss with AI which is way too finely tuned. I mean, we're still going to play it with a bunch of friends but literally nothing is going to get unlocked in my copy of the game. I got a hat and one stage from beating the entire game.
Because I pre-order games I think I might want. Why do people get so ridiculously bent out of shape about pre-ordering? It's simple and easy.
Plus if you do it on Amazon it's 20% off and you'll get it release day. And you don't get charged until it ships so you're not out any money until you're getting it anyway.
And I can STILL return it for free!
Amazon still gives the 20% off for a few weeks after release. :P
Oh yeah I know, but then you'll wait the 2 days or whatever for it to ship (unless you're one of those lucky people that get it same day).
No one's getting bent out of shape, I just think it's pointless and the culture surrounding it encourages developers to ship broken and unfinished games.

Remove them both from the console and hit l +r on the joycon you wish to use while on the relevant part of the vehicle select screen (the part where you select which user profile you want to use). Or you can go to the controller menu option on the homescreen and do the same thing from the "change grip/order" panel.

Someone did a April Fools that MyNintendo was adding a BOTW jelly bean collection/assortment and all that does is rub salt in the wound for me. At this point I'd actually take Zelda jelly beans even if one randomly tasted like Switch cartridges, as long as it meant that we'd be getting physical rewards again.
April Fools jokes are always the worst, especially when big companies like Nintendo try to get involved through the internet, like that Fire Emblem thing.

Deadlines and fiscal periods make them do that, not pre-ordering.
And it's clearly not pointless. I pre-order so I don't have to keep track of release dates and don't have to worry about trying to find a copy.

They are about 10% better (51 seconds down from 1 minute 10 seconds or something like that). Still unacceptable.

I mean, Lego games have never been the tightest, but a mere 12 percent reduction is amazingly bad.
Selling people an unrealistic depiction of what a game will be in order to get them to pre-order influences the idea of the game being broken and unfinished in the players minds upon release. It absolutely contributes just as much as deadlines do, if not more. The idea of a game being hard to find was certainly relevant in the 90's and early 2000's, but not today when you can find plenty of copies of newly released games at a multitude of stores as well as online. Pre-ordering (edit: pre-ordering games) in todays age benefits the industry far more than it benefits the consumer, and is wholly unneccesary.

But it does bug me that the open world nature requires that much initial loading, even now.
Because they added multiplayer, and it SHOULD'VE had much better load times, and a lot of people missed it on Wii U because not a ton of people bought Wii U, and also Lego games are really fun.

Penn and Teller did an episode of Bullshit on it (though that was over 10 years ago) but it's pretty enlightening and I don't think much has changed.
