Photoshop Animation?

I am not a huge Photoshop user, I just have a copy for basic picture editing that MS paint cannot do. I do remember however there was a program or something that came with my older version of PS that my new one doesn't seem to have. I used to have 7, IIRC and now I have CS2. This other program let me just import my image and all it's layers and let me set up how to animate it with a timeline and such. CS2 doesn't appear to have that so can someone help me out really quick with this. I'm just looking for something to change which layer is viewed and at what intervals. I did it before on PS7... :x

That program is called Image Ready, I don't know if it's been integrated or not in CS2.

It's a separate program that comes included with the full copy. If your copy isn't legit, it may have been chopped out for whatever reason.

If it is legit, it should be in the Photoshop CS2 folder.

Oh okay. I have Image Ready but it looks nothing like the old Image Ready with the frame by frame option bar or anything. Its the Adobe Image Ready CS2 tool. Any help of tutorials to help me?

It's there, it's just all moved around. Take an animated gif (like my avatar) and plop it in there. I'm on OS X so the menus are a bit different, but that's how I figured it out when I brought it up again. I was in a similar boat, having used it like 4 years ago. They've hidden some things, but it's all still there.

Photoshop CS3 re-includes animation (I believe), or at least they say it does.

Select 'Window' -> 'Animation' from the menu for the frame-by-frame overview.
