I used to drink three cans of soda a day, now I don't really drink more than a serving a week.
Then, as a way of getting a little bit of caffeine, I started drinking Diet Pepsi at work, thinking I wouldn't be packing in weight with it.
Nearly ten years later, I really prefer the stuff, or if I'm desperate, Coke Zero.
Wish they still had Diet Pepsi with lime.

I wish I could do that, but I got fat off eating to much and not exercising.

I didn't really lose any weight
About the same time I gave up soda, I started drinking two or three beers a day
I've weaned myself down to a few a week now though
This kind of makes me want to try Diet Sunkist.
Is it an orange soda?
Yeah, I went from "a pop almost every day" to "maybe 1 pop every 2 months" and I didn't lose any weight. When I see "choose water instead of pop" on health advice, I roll my eyes because the only thing left for me is actual exercise, and I'm not keen on that.
Can you actually get, like, 2 liter bottles of Pibb or Cheerwine? The first I only ever see as a fountain drink and the latter I only see in the to go vending machine bottles.
I don't drink it as much now because it has high sodium, even for a soda, but its still my favorite
Regular Coke with a lot of lemon is my current favorite. Cherry Coke Zero is what I drink most often because calories.

I read a lot of different studies on this and nothing is conclusive. I've read that it does, I've read that it doesn't. I've read caffeine does... Nobody fucking knows.

some doctors say it can make it worse because your body is trained to produce insulin when it tastes something sweet and since there's nothing for the insulin to do anything with your system gets fucked up.
I don't know how true that is tho.
