    my girlfriend was sorta confused by how hard this one is leaning into the GotG look

    then I showed her how crazy colorful Jack Kirby art and similar Cosmic Marvel material gets, especially when Thor goes full on Cosmic

    I'm loving these new cameras the MCU is using, for sure. The black values being ink-deep helps the colors pop really well! Perfect for a film trying to live up to Kirby's legacy

    The Dr. Strange climactic sequence definitely had some Kirby Krackle and Ditko Dazzle about it, albeit more in the background than up front
