Mike can do whatever he wants with his style, and I'll probably like it.(maybe not Tycho's brown nose and ears) But the fact that he doesn't connect his ink lines anymore really triggers my OCD.
Oh, tourists. It isn't the saguaros you have to watch out for here in Arizona. The cholla, a.k.a. jumping cactus, is much more dangerous and painful. Not to mention the scorpions, rattlesnakes, gila monsters, black widows, and javelina. Also, the sun is super effective here. We're basically like Australia, surrounded by deadly and hateful flora and fauna on a regular basis, and it is just taken sort of matter-of-factly by us desert dwellers.

Yeah, that's the one Jerry linked to in his news post. And now I've been watching videos of that poor guy getting stung by velvet ants and tarantula hawks and bullet ants and am terrified to go outside...
Pfft, gringos. Bet he nearly froze to death at night because "the desert is hot" and he didn't pack a jacket.
I'll admit, this was me
Being driven round Monument Valley in September in an open top car was chillier than I was expecting, and all of my warm clothes were deep in my luggage
Which is why all of the pictures from that day feature me wearing my then-fiancée's hoodie
Apparently being linked to PA was enough for that restaurant's bandwidth cap to be exceeded.
Oops.

oh his hand is even bandaged in the first panel if you look close enough. Facial expression in panel 2 is really realistic. I could almost feel his pain.

Yeah, pretty sure anyone who grew up in Arizona's gotten some cholla in them. Definitely have myself. I see a lot of tarantula hawks working down in Nogales, but luckily they're not at all aggressive. They know they're the baddest bug around, and they know you know it too.
