An Idea for a Charity Thing

So, PAX Unplugged. It's a brand new thing and there's lots of brand new stuff. One of which, should be a new Child's Play Charity. The Cookie Brigade is awesome, and they'll be there, and I will feast upon their delicious creations as I did in March, however, them raising 27,000$ got me thinking.

What if we did the same things with board games? Community members go to Goodwill, Target, Walmart, etc. and buy a bunch of board games, bring them in a cart, and pass them out/request for donations for Child's Play? I think having that at Unplugged would be kind of cool, so if you run out of games to play, just nab one off of the cart.

Ideas and constructive criticism?

Also is this allowed? Does Cookie Brigade need special permission to bring stuff to PAX?

Cookie Brigade does coordinate some with Child's Play to make sure things go smooth, but it is really them doing their thing. We do always like knowing about community fundraisers at PAX, because when someone comes to ask us if "thus and such" fundraiser is legit, its great to know about it ahead of time. As long as you are not selling the games, I don't believe there are any rules against this kind of fundraiser. If it turns out to be a thing, or you want to chat about it, hit us up at info@childsplaycharity.org and we can talk.

Thank you as always, for your support. You guys let us do the amazing things we are able to do.
