Did Zelda ever hold the Triforce like that in the NES game?
I have no personal memory of it, but I was able to find the same image online pretty easily, so either "yes", or PA copied some fanart and this pin will soon be canceled.
In the very end of Legend of Zelda, she holds up her Triforce next to Link holding up his. So yeah, this is based on a real event that nobody remembers Which means this is a pin I’ll have to explain to people what it is...

lol what
I thought what I said was pretty clear. A quick search turned up an image of the the same pixel art as used in the pin. Either it's from one of the games or not. If it's not, then it's fan art and not something Nintendo would be OK with PA using for a pin. And Nintendo is highly litigious, so they would be unlikely to let the pin remain on sale.
Of course I consider the former to be way more likely than the latter.

I'm not personally a fan of it, but as I understand it, PA has access to all of Nintendo's art assets, but can't really alter it.
A 30 second search on YouTube is more productive.
