Looks like USC is going to eke out a win because Utah couldn't get a two-point conversion.

Because sometimes, you want to have a defensive lineman play on the offense.

I half-wanted that last ASU kick to be good if only because it would have eliminated the kicking game as an option. I don't trust either Husky kicker with an extra point right now, even.

At least the real LJ Scott decided to show up tonight, even if he does keep having that tiny little problem of not holding onto the damn ball at the worst points in every game.

Also I am petrified of whatever point in the year it is that this secondary faces a QB who can hit a receiver more than 8 yards down field. At least we'll go to a bowl this year. Next two years are just gonna be 7-5 to 9-3 while we lose to every actually good team we play though.

Man, W would've been like 50 points ahead if they had managed to make half of their field goal attempts

Welp. I never expected this year's UW team to go undefeated, but I confess that I was stupidly looking past this game when the Huskies haven't won in Tempe since Dubya's first term.

I've never seen Memorial Stadium look so empty before half time.

Nebraska can't really afford to give Riley another year if he can't eke out a winning record this year.

ESPN FPI had our rank go up after yesterday?

I don't know if Frost is our Harbaugh but i'm willing to find out.

Fake edit- rumor is he wouldn't want the Nebraska job even if offered. So give me a proven winner. None of this Bielma bullshit some fans want (power running!) with no regard to his results post-Wisky

And Moos from Wazzou is the new Nebraska AD. Not even sure if I should be happy, upset or indifferent. Don't know much about WSU athletics past Leach being there and turning around the fb program.

Moos taking a chance on Leach was a stroke of genius for a program that had been wallowing for over a decade. His other hires.....well, the basketball team is one of the worst in the conference, but I hear Nebrasketball is ok so maybe he just leaves them alone?

Like, his kid is a fb at Nebraska. He is fun to watch and Nebraska would prob get pretty good under him. But the chaos would be maddening.

Moos was at Oregon for quite a while before he was at Wazzu.

And honestly him turning around the football program was all he was hired for at WSU and it's probably all he's expected to do at Nebraska. Maybe wrestling. Nobody* really cares about any of the other sports even if they have to pretend they do for title IX.

    *except a statistically insignificant margin

They support their dominant volleyball program pretty well, I think.

All he really has to do is leave the volleyball program alone. They have been good for a long time.

Yeah, sports that a school is good at tend to get support - volleyball and wrestling at PSU, for example.

Also schools with established D1 hockey definitely seem to support that, from what I've seen, it's just that relatively few schools have it.

So yeah, my best friend who is an Auburn fan is basically inconsolable after this weekend and is just super pissed about Gus and the state of the Auburn football program.

I really want him to be happy, but I also really want Auburn to suck.

    Oh God it's Sophie's choice.

From my life experience, shitting on your friends' favorite teams is one of the purest joys there is.

Of course, I'm from Cleveland so nobody takes it seriously. Might not go over well if my teams were perpetually successful.
