[WEST] Current And Classic Tournaments! (CT)

Hey All,

This is the usual rules post for Console Tournaments.

All tourney signups are in Console Tournament. Meet at Console Tourney 15 minutes before tournament start to practice.

First: Signups for a given tournament starts on the day of the tournament.

Second: Signups start at 10am each day.

Third: All tournaments are single-elimination.
- We know this is rough, but we only have so much time.

Let me know if you have any questions.

P.S. We are not PAX Arena (and I swear we have enough Sonic Adventure 2 Battles this time around)

What happened to the FIFA tournament? It was full every year and even had people waiting most of the years.

My error, I forgot to put it in and the schedule got finalised. The department was trying to switch things up TBH and trying new games out is always fun!

When are the mystery tournaments announced? Or is it more a just "show up at 10am at the CT and find out what's going down" thing?

I don't ever remember seeing them before but I've also never done CT so it's possible that info fell out of my brain at some point.

The tournament for the game will be announced at the time it starts. For example, at South we had a Friday mystery tournament and it ended up being Skate 2 - Hall of Meat. You still would win the same medal for a mystery tournament as you would one that had a set time. If you have any downtime during those periods it's a good way to kill an hour or two.

Not a console question but where will the handheld tournaments be held this year? I am new to handheld this year and would love to participate but didn't see a room/location listed for it in the guide. Thanks
