Summary
Players cooperatively battle a series of monsters on their way to the final boss. However, only the one with the highest
score at the end will win. Players attempt to outdo each other in score, sometimes to the detriment of their quest.

Overview
Players begin with 2 melee weapons, a ranged weapon (less damage than melee, but a chance to inflict damage first), a transform card (wait until you see what everyone else plays that turn before deciding), and a hunter's dream card (retreat to base).
A monster is flipped. Players decide a card to play face down, then reveal. In player order, cards are resolved. Players receive a blood echo point (VP) for each damage they inflict on the monster. After instant are resolved, the monster attacks and inflicts damage to everyone, followed by the hunters' weapons. If the monster is still alive, it escapes (except mini-bosses). If a monster is killed, everyone who inflicted damage on it that round gets one trophy of the corresponding monster type, which are worth points at the end. Play continues until the last boss is killed.
Hunters visit the Hunter's Dream when they play the card or are killed. This is the only time that hunters put their played cards back into their hand. Refill health to max, then bank all your blood echoes (unbanked blood echoes are all lost if you die) and choose 1 upgrade to take from the available upgrade pile.
Player with the most
echoes at the end wins!

Hmm? Did something give that impression?
I think just that there weren't any sign up instructions or a deadline or anything.
Yeah I tried it over the weekend. It's a quick, simple fun game. It's presented as some co-op monster slaying dungeon crawler, but it's really a press your luck bluffing game.
Having played this a couple times in person, I'd agree with the press your luck part but "co-op" in quotes, because of the implication.
The co-op is really only thematic to the monster slaying motif. It could have easily been reskinned into a treasure hunting game where you dick everyone over to grab limited piles of gold before everyone else.
Yeah, that's what I'm getting at. The game is mostly about judging how badly your opponents want to screw with you on this monster based on their own needs and choosing your plays accordingly, ime.
It's fun, though! Probably a little slow by post, but you guys will get a kick out of it.
E: Nah, I'll pass due to my history of being the slow guy in these, but thanks.
