Penny Arcade - Comic - Won’t Someone Think Of The Laws
Pretty rad game. Have been playing it for a few days now. I have some difficulty understanding the playerbase. As I'm traditional terrible at video games, especially on console, finding myself in the top 2-3 players consistently has me worried everyone that plays it are terrible, or if the game lacks of balance that I'm unknowingly abusing.
10/10 experience, won't be the next overwatch by any means, but has it's moments for sure. Some of the game modes have made for some very exciting turn around moments.
IE: Objectives you can allow the opponent to nearly complete, and then scoop in to finish them off, essentially turning what feels like a losing game around in mere moments.

So that's bad? Was 1992 a bad year in player characters?

That's interesting because everything I've seen in the marketing emphasizes the skill required to play the game. What I took from it was I shouldn't even bother to try it. These days I can only play competitive games where my thinking can make up for my lack of aiming skills. In any case, the game is in major trouble. They are now averaging under 1000 concurrent players. About the same number as Evolve (which has ceased development). If they aren't readying their transition to "free" right now, I don't see much hope for them. And as you can see from the chart, Brink went free (actutally, and not free-to-play) and is enjoying a bit of a resurgence right now.
This video which uses the lawbreakers devs own words and hype as kind of argument to why the game failed was pretty devastating. Like they had a worse launch than Battleborn against no real immediate game launches. When D2 comes out they'll just be "hey remember that really failed none gears of war game that Cliffy B did?"
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.
I bought Law Breakers cause I bought into Cliffy's hype... feel a little bamboozled. Game's kinda lame, and no one's playing on PS4.
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.

I saw a youtube ad trailer for it that I actually didn't skip, looked pretty cool. Hadn't heard anything about it before or since, sort of forgot it existed.
