I lived with two film studies majors in college and they both busted ass to get decent grades.
Well, one busted ass and helped out the other a good deal, but still. Regardless, I'm on team Abby on this one.
More importantly, the film studies majors had screenings of classic movies in the school's big ass proper movie theater, so you can bet I snuck into almost every single one of them.

Lawrence of Arabia on an screen half again bigger than the movie theater in my town was a hell of a thing. Then we snuck in there a few nights later to play Smash Brothers.
I'm Ben's age but I feel like I could hold my own with Vinny and Jeff, at least when it comes to having an awareness of things that happened before I was alive.

As someone who graduated with a STEM degree, Dan's college experience pretty much represents what I imagine the average liberal arts degree entails.
As a guy with a liberal arts degree this is a pretty shitty bias to have. The mentality that an arts degree is an easy degree is fucking tired. I worked my ass off for my degree.
I think being on my 3rd job and having to deal with 25 year olds as a 36 (in a few weeks) old man vs a 30 year old man has really driven home this fact.
Also, I think I'm turning into a Dan when my playlist is filled with "hip" new music but it's actually 2000s Emo Pop Punk trash that's almost 20 year old.

We should all be in agreement that Dan having a degree devalues everyone's hard work.

I think society and capitalism is devaluing everyone's hard work in uni myself but
(to head off an argument, stories like Dan's are way more common than most people think, and also the inevitable result of this society where you have to spend a bunch of money to get a degree in order to be considered remotely employable at all)
Rorie is great as the wild card. His answer to the largest mass of zombies hes seen was epic on this stream just now. Both ben and brad tensed up in a way and ben shouted "I thought we were about to have to end the stream"
He started the sentence "well, in the invasion of israel"(from WWZ) and you just seem them freeze a little before he can finish the sentence.

Do I really need to start putting sarcasm tags on my posts?
When you're throwing out something that's a super commonly held opinion among a lot of folks (not necessarily on the boards, but I've seen this attitude plenty in real life) it might not be a bad idea.

State of Decay 2 steam this afternoon.
At one point, Jan put a "sleepy Ben" meter on the screen, which was pretty fantastic.
I guess it is about time to make a new thread. Anyone else have the urge to make the next one, or shall I continue to do it?
I use your icon as a way to generally find this so to if you don't make the new thread I'll have to actually read the topic titles more which just seems like a lot of work.

Jan has been a great addition to the west coast team.

No doubt. I've really liked how he's been pulling up relevant news stuff et cetera on the live bombcast videos.
Ha the expressions on Brad and Ben when Rorie started talking about Israel on the State of Decay 2 stream. Oh my.
On another point I was listening to Austin on waypoint talking about one of his fave games and I had to rewatch it again because Vinny makes it glorious.
