Hm so far I've found...a Salvadoran cultural festival? Hah all right.

    find some delicious Salvadoran food

It's a parade with marching bands and dancing and costumes, no stalls though, also I think just generally Latin American not only El Salvador. Pretty great though; I fucking love drum lines.

Yeah it's most crowded weeknights at maybe 630-7 cause everyone goes after work. It's right in the office park where I work, and also very accessible by metro.

I love this my career mode in NBA 2k18

I just have to focus on one player. One playstyle.

It’s so much more digestible and accessible as a result.

Yes, the places with the highest population density are the backwards ones

You know that was a joke but seriously a gym being less crowded on a weekend is a geographical anomaly probably caused by being near workplaces closed on weekends only.

Also for climbing specifically, the people who are serious about it tend to go on outdoors trips on the weekend like every weekend instead of going to the gym.

My summer was AWFUL. I spent most of it on the verge of complete breakdown and considered hospitalizing myself several times! I'm pretty sure there were a couple of times Chelle was ready to do it FOR me.

That said..I'm almost afraid to say I'm doing pretty damn good. I hate to say it as I realize the average healthy person with an even halfway decent diet probably doesn't have this problem but I think a lot of my issues with coping were vitamin related.

I mentioned this before but Chelle showed me a study focusing on mental health and a few key nutrient deficiencies leading to increased depression and anxiety. One of the big ones was folate. So I bought a fuck off huge bottle of pregnant woman potency folic acid pills and started taking one a day.

Chelle also ordered a bottle of fuck off bariatric grade (for people with low absorption) multi vitamins for me and I started popping those too. I began feeling like a different person in about two weeks.

So yes it's true most people probably get plenty of vitamins from their food...but maybe not.

So now I deal with vitamin burps every day and I piss neon yellow but hey at least I don't wish daily for the nukes to just go ahead and drop so it can be over and not be my fault! (That's called suicidal ideation btw! Turns out I'm like...super good at it)

If how many miles a car has traveled is mileage, what's the word for kilometers traveled? I truthfully don't know this.

The Europeans probably have a real word for this, but as we're a halfbreed of the metric and imperial system up here, we just say mileage >_>

Though interestingly, whereas the typical unit talked about is miles per gallon, up here we measure "liters per 100 kilometers".

    we say kilometerstand

as in, the reading of the kilometer counter

when we are talking about how much gas it uses, we do talk about how much it takes per mile. But the norwegian and swedish mile, which is as 10 km.

I wouldn't be surprised if the media coverage and conversations of nazis are louder than in those spaces than in real life

There is not as much media as I thought lots of police presence though. And like...10 antifa dudes hanging out by the portapotties awkwardly. I was sort of looking to do that and dressed accordingly but uh there are not a lot of them and it would actually be super awkwars to go up and start a conversation. Overall, awkward tiny showing for everyone involved. Maybe I'll go look at bones in the natural history museum instead.

If you ever wanted to see what generic Canadiana looked like, here it is:
    DJ3CC9FVoAAQW7B.jpg

For those of you who don't know Canadian geography, Kitchener-Waterloo (my hometown!) is in the Grand River Valley in south-western Ontario.

In other words, it has no lakes. No mountains. It doesn't have totem poles, which is a distinctly west coast natives cultural concept and you do not see genuine totem poles anywhere in eastern Canada (speaking as someone who lives on the west coast they're fuckin' everywhere out here)

KW has no seaplanes. No moose (who are far more northern and western). I can't decide if the small brown animal next to the tree is supposed to be a beaver, badger, or wolverine (hard to tell!) but literally none of those are ones to be found in KW.

It has no old growth pines (instead having large forests of maple, since it's part of the core of where much of Ontario's maple syrup comes from).

Literally the only part of that picture that is accurate is the sun and sky, because I guess KW is part of Planet Earth and has access to those.

It's like someone taking a picture of New York City and stamping "Boise, Idaho" on it. Amazing.

Heating up leftover KFC. I dislike the way heating it up in the oven dries the chicken out and microwave makes it soggy. So I nuked it a bit warm and waiting for the deep fryer to warm up so I can recrisp it for 30 seconds. I don't care this is my first day off in 12 days.

I'm in NJ 10 right next door but part of West Orange is NJ 11 and it's pretty plausible I end up living in the district in the nearish future.

I hope the primary results in someone both good but more importantly capable of unseating a multi term Congress critter who is going to have a huge cash advantage going into 2018. That's the biggest reason I like Mikie, I think she has the chops to take advantage of a likely wave election.
