What would Aragorn and Boromir be? Damphir and Knight?
Oh yeah I was thinking a lot about this earlier. It actually turns out to be a pretty solid red/green deck, with only Elven Archer yellow. Go beyond the basic LotR group too.
Aragorn = Knight-errant, right down to his transformation into Armed Paladin
Boromir = just Fighter I guess
Gandalf = Sage
Saruman = Conjurer
Eowyn = Shieldmaiden, that is literally what she is
Treebeard = Leshy
other ents = Woodfolk
Various ogres and goblins and Rock Troll
Gollum = Hidebehind?
Ringwraiths and/or Sauron = Dead Warlord or Black Knight
Old Willow is literally the old willow from Fellowship that puts all the hobbits to sleep and forces them to stop there
Yeah...at a certain point, I think every non-N rarity card is added to the Rich pack, so that's the only one you ever need to buy (and it's the most efficient too money-wise). You might be at that point now, I forget.
I wanna say that I appreciate that this thread exists to keep tabs on the daily online rewards. I haven't been concentrating on this game, I'm still only on the third chapter (Drifter) and I've still got a lot of cards to unlock. Since I'm still playing through other games like Etrian Odyssey V, I don't like bothering with switching cartridges just to get a single card. So it's nice to know when there are notable rewards to snag.
When I have decided to spend a half hour to continue the Quest mode or tweak my deck, I've been pleasantly surprised at how engaging the game has been. Despite roll-and-move being a really basic mechanic to build a game around, it cannot be denied that the game gets those pleasure circuits in the brain excited. I don't think I've gotten far enough to see the full extent of how deck-building skill mitigates the superficially luck-based gameplay. Most of the time I feel like my wins come from being lucky or playing smarter than the Quest-mode AI so far rather than my deck being any good. I haven't been spending a lot of my coin, so I haven't really done much beyond tweak my starting Water & Air deck to have better cards - I really don't have enough cards to branch out into Fire & Earth, mono-typing, or other themes and synergies. (On a side note, it kind of sucks that the character limit on book names and comments is so short.)
Saw this thread and the LE was crazy cheap on Amazon so ordered me one.
Liking it so far, although with rolling 2 dice it seems like a lot of land gets passed over. I suppose it speeds up the rounds, but it seems like it's harder to get someone to land on your stretches of continuous land.
Also missing getting the +10 Attack bump per adjacent land that you got in Culdcept Saga. Not sure if that was unique to Saga as that is the only previous Culdcept I've played.
I run most of my decks with Mad Harlequin
Which is grants +20 Attack/+20 Health bump per adjacent land to all your creatures.
It's really good with my "overrun the Map with summons", deck

OmiyaSoft felt that the learning curve was too steep, so they streamlined Revolt and made it more welcoming and less confusing. It features online play and was released in Japan on 7/7/2016. It was released in North America on 10/3/2017, in Europe on 10/6/2017, and in Australia on 10/13/2017.
Notable gameplay elements:
- (New) No more castles or forts - now you progress through gates and "lap" by passing the last gate.
- (New) Creatures' Territory abilities are now Secret Arts and are used during the first phase of your turn.
- (New) Creatures now have a Fatigued state, which significantly changes when and how you can use them.
- (New) Unyielding creature ability (never becomes Fatigued normally).
- (New) Synthesis card ability (when discarding the specified card type, gain an enhancement).
- (New) Synergy card ability (the creature received a stat bonus in battle when a creature of the specified type is on the map).
- (New) Your hand can hold up to 10 cards during your turn, and then discarded back down to 6 at the end of your turn (instead of discarding on card draw, as it was handled before).
- (New) Cards are now earned by purchasing packs with in-game currency.
- (New) Idols are gone, replaced with Global-effect spells.
- (New) Massive array (80!) of in-game Achievements.
- (New) Large variety of free and paid downloadable add-on content (no DLC cards, though - the developer doesn't believe in those).
- Creatures have 100 maximum ST and MHP on the map.
- Doublecast spells, Immediate abilities and Dual-element creatures are gone.
- Incredible grind of a Story Mode, but also very rewarding.

Well, I made it to the end of Quest 3 (Drifter) after three losses, then immediately got the stuffing knocked out of me in the first stage of Quest 4 (In Darkness). The game is definitely getting tougher. I'm guessing that the game's expecting me to have enough experience and cards to build decks to counter specific strategies now. Fortunately, the solution seems pretty easy for this stage, but it makes me curious what kinds of strategies future opponents will have.
EDIT: On a side note, I looked at some general card lists and it's kind of disappointing how few cards are actually unlocked by the "In Darkness" set. It was also surprising to see that so many cards are classified as Strange rarity over Normal and Rare. I'd think that Normal would be the most common type, or at least that the distribution would be a little closer.
Meanwhile, I just got my first Evo card. I know that for regular cards, the guideline is to be thrifty until Rich Packs unlock, but I don't really know how to build up Evo cards. I know that they'll age with every game up to 10, and can be reset at any time for (300 * Age) G as a rebate / extra money. I guess what I'm asking is whether or not it is worth it to continually spend money to improve them while I'm still unlocking things.
You can do neat things with the EVOs. I'm still using the Fire & Earth book I started with.
So my first Dragon is a 70 ST/30 HP red creature that requires 1 red land. It neutralizes Fire/Earth and gains +10 MHP after every battle.
My second is a 50/60 green creature that requires 1 green land. It penetrates Fire/Earth and disables neutralize and reflect on fire/earth creatures.
This is a tabletop version of the 3DS game Culdcept Revolt. It has all the cards that the 3DS game has. Before playing you'll have to create your deck (there are no predefined decks, at least for now).
If you play this game let me know if it's playable as a tabletop game or if it needs fixing something. I would also appreciate a lot your suggestions on how to make this game better.
I hope you enjoy it

That fight with the Count is annoying. It's not that difficult but Yuma is a horrible teammate.

There are a few cepters with more aggressive decks later on.
