SIG did you ever figure out the Pixel deductible thing?
I saw a thing saying 79 for the regular and 99 for the XL when I was looking earlier, but I decided against getting the phone after all.
Yeah I cancelled the insurance. Just getting the phone with regular included 1 year warranty only.
yeah i had the insurance policy on my nexus and when the screen cracked they were like "oh its 79$ to replace the phone" and I was like "wtf is the point of a replacement plan" but then two weeks later the whole phone died and my warranty got me a new one bango presto for free
im running my final set of ~~~reviewer requested analysis~~~ (for one of the three reviewers......) and the other analyses with a third of the amount of genes took a half hour each so i'm assuming this will be done like
tomorrow
and i stupidly started it on a virtual machine running on my actual laptop and not on a remote server like a chump

In college I had this sliding phone that would lose all touch screen ability after even the slightest moisture. Like left in a jeans pocket on the floor of the bathroom while I showered.
This happened like 6 times and every time Verizon would replace it free of charge but wouldn't change the model I got.
Die Hard wasn't supposed to be a hostage situation, it was supposed to be "open the vault and we're outta here with the money" kinda thing but then shit went bad and they had to hack it and they had a serial killer trapped in the building with them so of course their heist didn't go according to plan. It's like the bad ending of Ocean's 11.

deductible for accidental, full replacement if failure qualifies under warranty, makes sense cause that's what google's plan turned out to be
but if I'm paying $129 up front i don't really want to pay $79 more for the "covered" accidental replacement
that plus the fact they won't give me all the fine print until after I have bought the plan and make a claim really pissed me off
so drawing the line in the sand here. HERE! NO FURTHER!

It was always supposed to be a hostage situation. Getting the FBI involved was a crucial part of the plan.

Yeah this is kind of a major plot point
I'm definitely not remembering that part.
This is an excellent excuse to watch Die Hard again.

They need the FBI to come in and
cut off the power to the building (part of the FBI hostage situation protocol) so they can then get into the vault

Of course, before all that, he moved his family out of New York after that incident with all the ghosts.
