hope I don't get chastised for multiple threads.
this one was more of a finished product than the sketches in my other thread.
also sorry about the cropping. my scanner isn't big enough and my camera sucks. all you're missing is the brim of his hat and a bit of cheekbone.

    HIS left eye is melting to the right.

    Also, a general rule is that heads are 5 eyes wide. There is usually one eye in between the eyes.

    something about that rule I've never been clear on: does the width of an eye qualify as just the eyeball or the entire opening. i.e. the little corners on the inside. if that makes sense...

    I count from the edges of the opening. Go measure yourself in the mirror. It isn't a rule set in stone, but if you follow it, your people will pretty much always look correct.

    But Johnny Depp is a disproportionate unholy beast.

    I think it does look like him, but I think his nose is a little too small(?).
