Got a Blast Furnace with Feeding Frenzy and Rampage.
More damage after kills, and faster reload after kills, awesome.
If it just had a long range scope instead of short and medium, it would be more or less perfect.
So back to the forge.
Gonna stop you right there before you discard this great gun based on the scope.
Low zooms result in more aim assist, and typically result in a gun that is much more forgiving aim-wise and much better feeling to use.
Especially if you have the one short range scope for that gun that gives you a big ol' boost to the range stat, which also ties into aim assist positively.
The only way this Blast Furnace could be better is if it had a Range masterwork and literally anything even decent in the second perk slot.
I'm not discarding it, i'll be using it as i try to forge the perfect one.
This thing has 2 flaws, no long range scope, and the stat boost is reload speed.
Get my a range or impact stat boost and a long range scope in addition to medium or short, and it's great.
Mainly i want the long range scope is because i use my pulse rifle as a quasi sniper weapon to deal with long range enemies in pve while carrying an auto rifle or smg for short range.
with the change to pulse rifle falloff damage based on range I genuinely think long range scopes on pulses are a bad idea these days
if you want a quasi sniper I'd take an actual sniper or a scout rifle
in pve I'd really usually suggest making sure you have a normal ammo and special ammo gun pairing anyway, to maximise your damage potential based on ammo types
Not really sure special ammo is worth it.
Never really have ammo issues with regular ammo weapons unless things are going very badly.
But special weapons are always ammo starved.
Also, not really comfortable with scout rifles, not good enough at short range to act as a hybrid, and not enough damage at long range to justify dedicated weapon slot for sniping.
Sniper rifles have the damage, but again, ammo issues.
And it's not like the game has that many long range situations, my main weapon is energy auto rifle like 90% of the time.
I've seen it before that the progress bars round up, so I've definitely had quests show at 100 but not actually complete until I did like, just a few more of whatever thing it takes

That's one of the reasons i love RiskRunner. Who needs special ammo to do elemental damage?

I'm using a gnawing hunger, moon auto rifle, for my elemental damage.
I have a riskrunner, but usually my exotic slot is being taken by a power weapon of late.
Either by Prospector (working on catalyst) or Thunderlord (only machine gun i have at the moment, should start rolling the dice on a black armory or moon ones in hopes of a decent legendary).
Welp, black armory lore entry done.
I have never wanted to hug a robot as much as i do right now.
One of my friends has an SSD in his PS4. His load times are so much better than ours that when we did some forge ignitions the other week we loaded in dead, because it apparently doesn't wait til the whole fire team is there to start.

quit showin' off your good PVP scores, it's making my mediocre ones look bad to me!
sometimes I'll get on a fuckin' tear though and I kind of red out and then I hear Saladin cheering me on 'cause I killed 4 dudes in a row and I'm like "huh, what, I've been playing?"
I've mostly been doing Iron Banner because lawdy do I have a lot of tokens I can't use until I finish fuckin' Scour the Rust which now wants Fusion Rifle kills, my absolute least favorite gun, especially in PVP.

I had the most issue with Pulse Rifle as well, i thought it would be fusion but i found that to bet easy, finished in 2 games.
I've done it on 2 chars now and both times pulse rifles are the worst.
I guess the match making has me decently matched now as well, I only get a killer game like every 5 games, and then I also get a game where I get smoked so brutally.
I hate the recluse so much

I actually meant Fusion rifles, haha, I typed it wrong
that gives me hope, though, I'll grab a Fusion out of my collection and probably upgrade it and see if I can't get some kills with it
Oh, I know a few different things have required Gambit in the past. I was curious if you meant the bow or not.
If you're high enough power level to queue into the 920 nightfall with matchmaking, one of those will give you 50% on that step. I just did that twice.
Each week there is one "main" nightfall alongside the previous option of choosing between three.
For that main nightfall there are four difficulty levels of increasing power requirements, and the easier two have matchmaking for them.
The two challenges tied into powerful rewards for it are "Complete 5 of These" where higher difficulties count as more completions, and "Break 100k Score" which can seemingly only be completed on the two more difficult settings due to the amount of modifiers present in those. So you would still have to get a group together to do that one.
Oh, and the more difficult you go the better the end rewards are.
When the nightfall was Scarlet Keep I actually got 100k points on the 920 difficulty in matchmaking. Turns out when the elevator goes up enemies spawn under it and they can be killed for extra points.
If you actively want the 100k points drop, getting a group together for the 950 is definitely far more reliable.
The hardest difficulty one is brutal, by the way. Even with everyone at max gear level.
It took a couple clanmates and myself 40 minutes last night to get through it, not counting backing out once to go to the tower and adjust our loadouts accordingly.

Tangled Shores might be my favorite map because I love a good crazy space pirate den, but it is also I think, the most aggressive map.
There's mobs and gangfights everywhere, and they respawn fast.
also I made a Warlock and Titan to go with my Hunter and spent most of my glimmer fixin' them up, but I'll have it back by like, tomorrow.

Did two and now my bar says 100% but didn't give me any gear...
Actually scratch that if it says 100% its definitely a rounding error

Unrelated, but it took me until right now to realize who you are
Neat

Huckleberry (mainy cos I have the catalyst) and a Bug Out Bag with the Demolitionist perk are the current favourites.
was pretty proud of this one

Shaxx is asking me to reset my valor rank.
I already did that three times during Iron Banner, but that doesn't count.
I’ll give it a go on vex offensive soon, should be fun
It wants me to play gambit
Which quest?
The one for banshee 44
Oh well
Probably better than strikes.

And I tend to avoid strikes when possible, I never much got into them, even in the first game they felt too bullet spongey.
Strikes are my jam, personally. I was pretty happy to have them be an option here.
Those floppy joysticks were so unforgiving!
Wait
Yeah I glossed right over this myself

also I changed my mind, The Dreaming City is so pretty.
