Also, I feel like this is going to end where Gabe has been sitting on the plane next to Randy Pinkwood this whole time.

And yet I'm pretty sure most of us knew this was the natural place to go.

What is this I don't even.

I honestly thought this one was going to show what hes actually up to on the plane while hallucinating.

This Solitary Confinement series has been some of my favorites ever. The concept is so silly and surreal, and every page so far has ended on a brilliant one-liner.

Yeah, I hear ya. On the other hand, I have to be kind of thankful that I don't have crippling anxiety that makes me want to be a shut-in without medication and even with medication makes me not capable of enjoying said bounty. So I suppose there's that.

I don't think I anticipated lunar-based snake-fucking when I read the first strip of this arc.

It looks more like he's going to eat him in the last panel, but maybe it's a less obvious kind, I guess!

As an aside: So like who do we contact about the archive being busted? Can't find any info on the site anywhere.

    How busted are we talking?

The image for the strips won't load. Not sure when it starts, the recent ones still do.

Oh, yeah. "Completely busted" is the answer. For example, the second strip: https://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/1998/11/25/john-romero-artiste

It seems to affect every strip from the beginning up to the 20th of May, 2016: https://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2016/05/20/renewables

Yep, all busted. I'd paste the strip where Gabe hasn't kept any backups, but, well...

Any idea when this started? Last time I linked an old strip was 9/22, but this is probably much more recent.

I'm guessing they must have solved it, as those are showing up for me now.

Not completely. That comic loads, but clicking on an arbitrary tag in the archive still pulls up a whole lot of nothing.
