Queue Rooms?

in PAX Unplugged
Ok this is my first PAX of any flavor. I have been looking at the maps, and can figure out all of the other rooms but what are the Queue rooms for? I don't get a room for lines unless it is actually for lining up for other rooms?

    Que rooms are for people who show up early. It is space to corral the mob of nerds before the convention opens its doors. After the gates open, the room become empty and might be used for other things.
