Rereading my PM, I'm thinking that the hunter may not even be a forum member at all. Maybe instead an amalgamation of our collective will?
I really can't decide if the hunger is a special or what.
I am thinking it's likely that they are not an actual player just because the whole of our powers being bottled up into one, I'm assuming killable, special would really disadvantage the village.
Conversely though it reads like we can only give them a power, not a target, so that leads me to thinking they are a person so that they could choose their own target.
All that said, I'm down with voting for Public Seer tonight. Omni-seer seems too likely to be shut down and default to regular seer.

If omni-public seer isn't game breaking then we are dealing with some seriously over powered abilities. Thinking on things I probably was a little to conservative in public seer. For the record I am sticking with that for today but tomorrow maybe going with Pubilc True Seer, same thing but not affected by abilities like Thrall, Busdriver, Insanity ect.
Also, not only do I believe we don't get a say in who gets targeted but that we should not. Discussion is good but at the end of the day the only information the hunter (if they are actually a player) has is they are a villager, other advice is suspect. Self-advocation is the worst though, you are basically saying "I am a thrall, seer me so that your trust is misplaced". That most definitely was in a recent game, Auralynx.
Also, changing my vote, having no information I would rather have a dead inactive villager than a dead active villager (ie not Kime). MagicPrime has been quiet.
Also, not familiar with "monkey-pawing". From context I assume an ability that does not work as advertised?

Alas I can't remember any grudges. So should probably add a seer target as well, just to be safe assuming the hunter is not one of us, so we need to decide on a consensus target. 2nd place vote leader?

I will vote for that. I am interested to see if our target gets chosen for us or what happens. Maybe the hunter is just a RNG of our collective will. We choose the power but it chooses the power to keep it in line.
Maybe that lets us go a little more nuts as we have no direct control.
I would be vaguely surprised if the hunter was not a player. If the ability was "seer" would the results just always be posted? And with a CD on specifying targets would it essentially just be random? That would be a bit weird

Ties, when done early enough, can provide amazing vote records to analyze on later days, assuming a mafia is involved in the tie.
It's not like he tied it with 20 minutes left. There was plenty of time and missing votes left to come in for it to be a fairly safe move.
