this is a thread about podcasts, people who get free reign to record and upload whatever they want, a blank check if you will, and sometime those checks clear
sometimes they BOUNCE BAYBEE
It couldn't be done without all of you, the Poduers, the Threaducers, our finest thread readers, the fuckmasters, the pods, Dirt Bike Poddies, Thursday Threadies, the Tiebreakers, the Poet Laureates, Soaking Wet Threadies, White Hot Threadies, the Fart Detectives, you're NOT Professor Crispies, you ARE Meat Lovers, if we see you in the streets, we'll wish you a hearty Hello Threadle
I'm so excited for people who don't know to think I'm having a manic episode but it's just the truth
He seems to be having a good time, so he's probably not listening to Lore.
Nothing - his battery died 3 hours ago but if he takes out his earbuds his co-workers will try to talk to him.
which led to my legitimate surprise that Garrison Keillor has a penis, or indeed any sex drive at all
A war criminal drinking poison on live TV is like, 3rd page news.
yeah nothing I've ever done has been advertised in a movie theatre before the previews
I was originally thinking of a joke about being the host of one of those E! newsmagazine shows
now I'm just thinking about how "Access Hollywood" is a very Austin Walker NPC name
My Hero Academia.
Your what now?
Sorry do you mean Boku No Hero Academia
"The team even said that it hasn’t ruled out virtual reality headsets like the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive."
I'm kind of shocked the rift and vive people haven't already thrown money at this project to get them to build in VR support, it seems like an obvious killer app for VR.
Sorry, boku no mistake.
edit: I know this doesn't make sense because I'm not the one who said it, but I wanted to make this bad joke
should I make a MonHun World thread then? Any interest?
I haven’t listened to Lore, what makes it so bad?
The world isn't totally trash
2018 is going to have two videogame releases and two table top box set releases.
Not a comprehensive list
1. Excessive and blatant cherry-picking and reinterpreting of information to fit an uninspired narrative
2. Co-option and misrepresentation of other cultures' stories by a white dude
3. Insufferable host
I've played the two extant episodes of Life is Strange: Before the Storm, and I have to say that despite my initial trepidation (and some occasionally, uh, rocky vocals) it is Very Good
Episode 2 and also I guess a spoiler for mainline Life is Strange
But like, once Rachel goes off script and the two of you start improvising Shakespeare dialogue about getting out of this shit town and hitting the open road together I was fucking ENTHRALLED and the kid in the crowd yelling SAY YES into the silence was such a great way to break the tension
I am so immediately invested in these two even though I know the tragedy that's going to follow. It's rough
Man I'm getting all emotional about this game but I really wasn't expecting it to hit me like it did
Last night was a roller coaster, y'all
Good to know, a friend was telling me to watch their amazon show but I remember hearing bad things.
It reminded me of something I would occasionally see if I happened to stop on the History Channel. Which isn't a dig or a compliment, it's just sort of there.
He manages to finish every episode with some variation of "What if the real monster,,,,,,was man,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"
One was that I read one of the novels written by the dude and it was possibly the worst fantasy novel I've ever read
Two was he covered a folklore subject that I actually knew a bunch about and was wrong about a ton of stuff, including intentionally omitting facts to sensationalize his story
I just started finding every episode samey and boring

Go Plus Ultra.
What I've listened to of Spirits has been better, but I didn't get super deep with that one (and it goes in a slightly different direction).
