Android app to better manage conference calls

When I make a conference call and merge parties, if I hang up on my end, the call is ended for every one. What I want is to be able to drop myself from the conference call while allowing other parties to continue the call. I see no way to do this with the vanilla phone app.

I figured I could Google this, but I get a slew of adds and "best of" articles and I ain't got time for that.

I don't know that there is a mechanism for that through a standard voice call. Skype or something similar might be an option.

Isn't that a function of how calls work? You are the connection point between the other parties, so once you leave, the connection is broken, right?

As mRahmani said, think you'd need a separate third party like Skype or InterCall. I'd take a look at those two and also Discord.

Zoom does this as well, I think they have a free version.

Yeah, you'll need an IP-based solution for this, like Zoom or Skype.
