So, there is a very specific situation in which my connection totally craps out. It didn't bother me at first, but now it's getting frustrating. Whenever I watch Lost on Abc.com, about 37 minutes into the episode, my connection just stops working. The video stops, webpages won't load, chat programs and torrents won't work. Just a dead connection. It doesn't matter what I'm doing during the video, I could have everything but firefox closed, it still goes dead about that same time. It doesn't seem like a bandwidth issue, because I've tried watching the episodes in all sizes....from tiny to fullscreen, it still happens most of the time.
The quickest way I've found to fix it is just to switch my modem off for a second. I'd rather not have to do that at all. At the very least, I'd like to figure out just why it happens. Just FYI, I'm running windows, using firefox, and have DSL with decent bandwidth. Any ideas are appreciated.
