I like how Tycho doesn't even flinch at a large insectoid creature bursting forth from its Gabe cocoon. Well, at least it seems Tycho has more in common with Broodax when it comes to gaming interests. Maybe they enjoy the same books and movies too.
This joke only works if Broodax puts up the Gabe face in the third panel and not the second. Like after realizing his mistake about Tycho's joke, he makes a half-ass attempt at covering up his emerging from a fleshy host.

Wouldn't it look awkward if the head just appeared out of nowhere in the third panel? I can't think of any way to do it without doing much more significant changes (like somehow rotating him downwards to pick up the head, and putting that between panel 2 and 3[which would become 4]).
If I hadn't already closed out GIMP, I would provide the disembodied head for someone else to work with.

Well, the rest of his body is there already, so the head portion or face has to be around. I mean, real time physics aren't necessary when it involves large insectoid life that inhabits your body like a warm fleshy glove.
But yes, the face in the lap or on the floor would work too.

god you guys are like those douchebags that kept getting in line at the last PAX Gabe and Tycho panel to ask inane questions like "So, in your opinion, who would win? Batman, or a shark made out of bears?"
Yeah, maybe it was funny the first time, but after the eighth dude gets up and starts asking, "So if these delicious peanut M&Ms got in a fight with my pocket full of Skittles and lint, who would win and also god fuck why am I so fucking pathetic all the time?", it gets old.
