Hi everyone!
I checked in with the mods a little while ago and they approved this post, so here it goes!
I've been a member of these boards for almost 20 years (!!), but I've never had the pleasure of meeting any of you. I've gamed with some of you, Phalla'ed with a bunch more of you, but I feel that it is high time for our relationship to go to the next level ( :P ). I rely on these forums for news both gaming and otherwise, and while I'm not a big debater, the conversations that have taken place here over the years have served to educate me, open my mind, and shape the adult I have become. As this forum has been part of my life from my low twenties to now middle-age, I feel I would be remiss if I didn't take some time to commiserate, in real life, with others who have shared this experience with me!
I'd like to see if there would be any interest in my fellow PAers for a meetup in Ottawa sometime in the new year.
Location: The Blurry Pixel
Date / Time: Some time in the new year, precise date TBD, based on interest and availability of those wishing to participate.
While I am posting the thread here in D&D as this is the sub-forum I frequent the most, the invite is open to all PAers across the site. If you know of any forumers who might be interested, please send them over!
I will make plans and edit the OP accordingly once I have a clearer idea of level on interest and everyone's availability!
