So i just flipped on the news and apparently a 15 year old girl shot herself in the head in a highschool bathroom here in Houston.
A couple of weeks ago some guy shot himself and a co-worker at NASA.
I'm sure this won't make national news and im also sure that other places have such happenings that i never hear about.
I mean is this stuff happening all the time or has it really been just recently that this has all been going down?
Post any school shootings that have happened near you recently i suppose.

I mean, i guess she was trying to make a statement or something, though thus far there has been no suicide note. Even then if she WAS trying to make a statement, why not in a more public setting than alone in a highschool bathroom?
Mayhap you should read the news story when it comes out? Kids and fucking stupid, that's my guess for why she did it.

What i'm curious about is the thought process behind it, i mean she obviously got up that morning, got dressed for school, packed her gun, went to at least 2 or 3 classes and then, all of a sudden, decided "well guess its that time," asked to be excused to the restroom and BLAM.
Why not just do it before school.
Makin' a statement, man.
A half assed one at that.
Is it wrong that im a bit annoyed at how poor of a statement this appears to be?

drug-related rollover - 3 dead, driver lived. Later he offed himself out of guilt
4 deaths due to alcohol poisoning
And one kid (a good friend) just up and died in the middle of a track meet. Heart just stopped.
But people shooting themselves...isn't all that uncommon...unfortunately.

but lately it seems that people have gone public with their murders/suicides more so than usual.
You don't need a suicide note to figure out that her statement was 'school sucks.'

My girlfriend at the time went around behind the car to see if she could find what we hit and she starts screaming, the rest of us run over and oh my god I still remember how he was lying there all crumpled up on the pavement, some old sailor-looking guy. he wasn't breathing, at last it didn't seem like he was, and we were all scared and we panicked. We put him in the trunk, took him down to the docks and dumped him into the water. We figured the crabs would eat him or he'd wash up and they'd never find out that it was us, but that was exactly one year ago today and I got this note in the mail......

Yeah she definately didn't get much of a bang for her buck (harhar).
Just school closed for the day and they were like " oh some mexican kid offed herself in the bathroom" on the news.
