Quick question about a power cable

DrezDrez Registered User regular
I have a new A/V receiver which uses one of those typical PC-type power cables. The connection on the receier has two prongs (not grounded) which is typical for receivers. Thing is, I don't have a two prong cable. I only have a three prong cable. But it still fits.

Any risk in using my three prong cable for this setup?

Nope, so long as it meets the current requirements of the receiver. Used one with my XBox360 power supply for years.

Thanks! I've been using it and nothing has exploded yet!
