Need help finding a PS2 game

OK I remember this PS2 game (I'm pretty sure it was PS2 at least) a while back where it had a really impressive number of enemies on screen at once, something like 65,000. It looked like it played a lot like Dynasty Warriors, and was only released in Japan

Any thoughts?

    Oneechanbara? Pretty much the exact same style, you play a half-naked cowgirl fighting against zombies IIRC.

    It sounds similar to the Kessen series. You command huge armies in those, apparently.
