iBuyPower.com Good? Bad?

I'm looking to buy a new computer in the near future, and I've seen some amazing deals on iBuyPower. As far as I can tell they use quality parts and are quite a bit lower-priced than any other custom build sites out there.

Has anyone had any experience with them? Good/Bad Stories? FYI, I did post this in the computer thread, but received no replies.

Thanks!

I have an iBuyPower laptop right now. It's decent enough, although too loud for my tastes (it might be the video card in there, but still). Also two of my RAM sticks burned out within a month of each other, but that was over a year ago and hasn't happened again so I'm pretty sure it was a coincidence.

EDIT: Also, I got the largest screen size they had at the time (this was two years ago), and it's pretty bulky. More of a desktop replacement than anything. Smaller screensize might be better if that's your thing.

I had a pretty awful experience with IbuyPower.

I wasn't confident enough to build my own rig at the time so I ordered one from there. They took about 2 months before they even shipped it, and when it got here worked for about 3 days before it screwed up. I called them up and told them my problem and they had me do some simple text-book tech support stuff to it before telling me "we don't know, send it back" in broken English. Another month later, it got back, and after figuring out that they didn't even plug the hard drive back in, calling them again, it worked again. For about a week, with the same issues as before (random reboots, etc.) I finally got fed up, sent it back and built my own.

The computer I'm on right now is from IBUYPOWER.com. It works fine. They installed everything I wanted. I got it 1 week after I ordered. They even called me and recommended a higher power, but less expensive, power supply to make sure I had no problems.

    No one spoke "broken English."

A few of my friends bought computers from them, and they never had problems.

I've bought from IbuyPower.com twice in four years and loved it both times. They are based in SoCal so when I bought my first rig from them I just drove out to their building to save myself the shipping. Everyone was pretty cool there. Pretty much an all asian staff. Anyway. They have great prices and I never had any problems with their rigs.

I'll be going with them for my next computer too, I'm sure.

Hmm, I'll have to think it over a bit. Thank you all for the info!
