Chatzilla Q

I have the latest version of Chatzilla running on Firefox in OSX (10.4). Maybe I am missing something here. I dunno. If I open Chatzilla, then close my Firefox browser window, I can never again open a browser window until I close out of Chatzilla. Has anyone else noticed this? Am I special and just missing something?

    Chatzilla is universally hated because it is horribly weak afterthought of an IRC client. I actually know of places where you will get k-lined for using chatzilla. Get yourself the real deal like xchat or irssi or bitchx or epic.

    Firefox and Mac OS X is also a horrible combination, the same thing even used to happen to the downloads window. Now that was annoying.

    I'd listen to ElectricTurtle, but if you really need to use ChatZilla, you might want to see if you can run it standalone with the help of XULrunner

    ElectricTurtle is right, ChatZilla is a terrible choice.

    But I'll move this to H/A and see if anyone else can figure this out, since for some reason you actually want to use it.
