I'm guessing I can stick this here, as opposed to G/T..
I don't know when I got it, but when I right-click anywhere in my internet browser, at the very bottom I have an option of "Look up on Answers.com." I haven't noticed until recently; for some reason, it likes to randomly search without me even right-clicking anything. I may be typing in a password, or searching for something in a text box, or typing a response here, and it randomly triggers and searches for w/e my last word typed was. Question I have is if there is a way to turn off/delete the option. I've already looked through my internet options, and didn't find anything on it there. I don't know if it's a Firefox addon or what. I'll put up a pic in a minute, but it's pretty self-explanatory...
TL;DR How do I turn off the auto-run "Look up on Answers.com" option under my right click menu?
if you're on a PC, have you checked in your list of installed programs? It's under 'Add/Remove Programs' in the Control Panel. If you look through the list carefully you might find some sort of Answers.com browser gadget in there.
Are you using Firefox? Double check your addons list, and also any Greasemonkey scripts if you've got that addon. I saw this addon in one of those "must have" extension articles, so that might be the problem.
Aha, found the bugger in Add/Remove programs. I sure don't remember downloading anything for that (seems like a dumb tool) but whatever, it's gone now. Thanks everyone
