Nvidia FX5200, switching to TV Out mode

I'm trying to get my FX5200 to display on my TV since I'm currently without a capable monitor. However, the computer is still set to display on a regular computer monitor and is completely blank on the TV side of things. If I boot into Safe Mode or Windows XP's "VGA mode", I can see things on the TV but I can't change the settings and I don't get full color.
Is there some kind of hot key for this functionality, or a registry key perhaps? Any suggestions how to do this while currently "blind"?
