Or they've already told the winner who won, since the votes were tallied weeks ago

Plus there's a 99% chance that the winning QB wins MVP.

This was the AP MVP! Not even the super bowl MVP.

Oh shit. I didn't realize that. He's had that speech ready since 2012 then.

On the one hand, with everything else that had people raising eyebrows towards the end of this season, it certainly is a bad look. On the other hand, surely anyone who's a likely contender has this stuff written for them ahead of time, right? I kinda suspect this is just some Patriots mind-game bullshit and that it was an "accident".

If it's anything like the Oscars, anyone in the running for it writes a speech way ahead of time.

I'm in 3 pools. One is a big money one and they did different numbers for each quarter:

First quarter: Eagles 1, Pats 8
    Half: Eagles 2, Pat's 0
    Third: 1, 4
    Final: 9, 8

So I'll have to at least keep up with the score

Who's the KC starter QB now with Smith gone?

Also bad College Oline play has absolutely moved to the pros finally

Mahomes will be the KC starter.

Swapped out a ball protector for a gunslinger

Really hope that Mahomes turns out to be more Favre than Grossman.

One of my bosses is a die hard Eagles fan, so I asked her what she'd be doing Sunday, envisioning a party was in order.

Nope. She'll be watching alone while her family attends the party across the street. Silly superstitions.

According to TMZ, Justin Timberlake's halftime show will feature a Prince hologram.

Here's Prince on the idea of using holograms of dead artists:

Prince also...didn't have many positive things to say about Justin Timberlake, who also talked shit about Prince several times. So, you know, great idea for a tribute

worth noting that an unverified account that says it's run by the prince family is saying that there's no hologram prince at the halftime show and they wouldn't approve it. so there's...all the bases covered, I guess

Hey um how long does it usually take for transit to return to normal after a super bowl? 1 day sound ok?

Marty: The future, it's where you're going?
Doc: That's right, twenty five years into the future. I've always dreamed on seeing the future, looking beyond my years, seeing the progress of mankind. I'll also be able to see who wins the next twenty-five world series.

Nah, this seems accurate, for as many bandwagon Cowboys fans that crop up like the plague where they aren't wanted, Dallas itself has the opposite problem: people here literally don't care about anything except the Cowboys. Like, when the nukes are in the air this place will be the last to know cause everyone will be listening to sports talk radio going over Cowboys mock drafts for 2021.

Plus we're already used to rooting for the Patriots in the Super Bowl, fucking Giants...

    Ray Lewis
    Randy Moss
    Terrell Owens
    Brian Urlacher

Edit: Bleacher Report only told me those 5. See next post for full list

that's a helluva HOF class right there.

Also, I just went in and entered my last yahoo pickem and I accidentally hit tab too late on the tiebreaker, so instead of a 30-24 game, I'm picking the Eagles to win 302-4.

    I'm leaving it.
