I tried to run the first one with a Berserker team: Kintoki, Kiyohime (for a quick AOE before she dies and brings in...) Heracles, then Gilgamesh and Shiki because... why not.
It didn't go well.
Since then I've been running Heracles [Limited/Zero Over], Jeanne [Divine Banquet], and Tamamo [Formal Craft] in the front line, then a flex position (affinity vs. round 3 boss) with Kaleidoscope, then Mash and Dantes in the back line, and that has been working for me so far.

Where can I find a list of recommended CE for specific servants? Been trying to find a way to make my teams better. I mostly just use 2030 and Kaleidoscope on all of my servants.

Day 4
Shiki+Imaginary Element / Waver+2030 / Orion+Kscope / Plugsuit in Dantes
Cleared the Wave 1 trash trivially, Shiki one shots the wave 2 Rider and I grind out the Sabers with Orion, Orion hilariously overkill oneshots Gilles, then I grind down the rest with Dantes. 12 turns, not too bad.
Whoops, guessed wrong going in blind, kinda (Waver+2030/MHX+2030/Okita+Imaginary Around, Dantes in the back row), but MHX's hatred of other Sabers and Okita being stupid strong managed to power me through.
Having basically 40 stars every turn didn't hurt either.
The power gap between the best few Servants and everything else is really extreme. Frustrating and discouraging.
Okay, but most people say that like the two best Servants in the game right now are a 3* and a 4*.
Cu and Herc, I assume? There's a number of other 4*s that are reliable for clearing most content. The real annoying thing with this is not being able to borrow OP servants from your friends list though. Cu isn't any use on some of these challenges due to class matchups, unfortunately.
Euryale is 3* and quite useful here - she knocks off almost all of Gil's HP in the current one with her NP (she's niche, but when you need to take out a male servant, especially male sabers, she's a good choice).
The event welfare servants can be useful (as long as they're not Lily) too. In that regard I think Shiki is especially strong? Nobu is good for farming, but Shiki is just straight up usable as a main assassin choice I think due to being single-target and a strong skill set.
I will confess to this event being kind of easy on account of stupid luck in my pool, but...
This character whose entire thing is healing actually heals for half as much, with a longer cooldown, compared to a Saber who also gets two attack buffs and an incredible NP. While Martha has a horrible NP, low damage...and also only two skills, for some reason.
Or say Emiya with two mostly useless skills compared to Gilgamesh's two amazing skills. And the ludicrous difference in damage and hits, plus the massive gulf in NP damage.
I won't even get into the Casters. That's just ridiculous.
Like I said, frustrating and discouraging to see the power gap between the top 5 Servants and everything else. And the game is starting to move on from just being easier if you got lucky, to having a few hard grinds and challenges you'll just barely not be able to clear, to 'this is easy if you have X and otherwise...actually we can't even recommend a strategy here because everyone just uses X'.

Who are you talking about? A trained Medea Lily will outheal everyone. 4000-6000 AoH NP heal. An instant NP charge skill. A healer doubler on a target skill. And a 2000 (later 3000) AoE heal on a 5 turn coolldown.
Martha is more about the debuff aremoval while doing so e damage and some healing. She'll later get targeted buff removal as well.
As for casters, Medea and Nursery Rhyme are the best single target ones in the game in NA and remain good at that.. and you get Cu for free who's a super tanky caster with good AoE.
The 4th Floor done without much difficulty. Looked at the enemies and decided it was time to assemble Team Quick. Jack, Okita, and Dantes ready to generate those crit stars like crazy. Worked out well, Marie died before Jack got her NP fully charged so she dumped it into Gilles. The soldier used Taunt on Dantes so I decided to swap him out with Heracles so he could wipe the floor with Jeane. All in all pretty simple.

I have no idea why you would even try to bring up Casters because Hans is legitimately one of the best supports in the game. Shakespeare is also acceptable for a Buster team.
Are debuffs ever a thing to worry about? I've never seen one bad enough to bother with. I'd trade that in for actually healing a useful amount. Is there any other Servant with just two skills? Her third one isn't very useful, after such a long wait. What buffs do you really need to remove...Evade? I haven't seen one longer than one turn...so wait one turn.
Nursey Rhyme isn't a single target NP? Unless you mean something else...

Because the top two and I guess soon three Casters are way too useful and make everything easier.

They're good but, again, there are plenty of ways to use all the other units.
I think you need to just watch videos or streams or something.
He starts with a standard high tier artsmeme team but then transitions to experimenting with seeing just what it takes to beat it with nothing but F2Ps.
That's a 5 hour video. You're going to have to give a specific time or some other details because I'm not really going to watch that entire thing from a streamer I've never heard of. I don't think I've ever watched a video of someone playing a mobile game...except for a few of the Fire Emblem Heroes challenge maps, where you could perfectly recreate the conditions most of the time, due to how that game and its AI work.
The fact that he has the pieces for that high tier team means he doesn't have to worry about clearing the mission. And he'd be able to easily clear everything else, and farm, to get all the materials and other resources to artificially buff his lower rarity Servants to compensate. The 3 stars of a guy who has spent tons of cash and pulled the perfect 5 stars to clear/farm everything are not going to be equal to the 3 stars of someone that's spent little to nothing and pulled mostly trash. Saying everyone should be able to beat it with 'F2P' Servants isn't a good comparison at all. You could theoretically have never even pulled one Hans since launch. It's incredibly unlikely, but not impossible. And I'm not sure what he uses specifically, but a team of 3 stars that are all max Foued, grailed and equipping maxed out high tier CEs aren't going to be what a person with average to shit luck has to use.
He was using 3 stars and wellfare 4 stars with 3 star gatcha and event CEs. Multiple team comps.
Not everyone will get all the copies and upgrade materials for those Servants, still. Especially if they're limited time only. And I know I still didn't get all the good event CEs even when I was farming for them pretty seriously. Especially not maxed out versions.

Halloween Princess 4/5
Thankfully the bunny had 5 copies in shop, but most event CEs aren't a big deal beyond the event bonuses... and friends list is enough for that usually.
Yes, the one particularly good one I did miss out on, all due to random chance...like a lot of things.
And friends definitely help with farming and clearing stuff. But it sucks when you have to depend on a friend unit to clear everything and build your team around them. And really sucks when they don't even give you that option, especially for missions that already have the odds stacked against you.

I linked a specific time in the video. I was trying to be nice but maybe just stop bitching and just educate yourself? The fact that you're complaining about a situation that isn't actually the case with the 1-3*s (they're not Grailed, they don't have maxed high tier CEs, I'm not sure if they're even Fou'd) means you're just looking for something to excuse poor play.
And you can theoretically also have pulled 5 4* Servants in the Tutorial roll, but instead of talking theoreticals let's talk about the actual world where yes you can realistically be assumed to have NP5 1-2* Servants and NP3+ 3* Servants if you've been playing since launch.
That video starts playing at the very beginning and there's no time listed in your post.

The fuck? Forums plz. Fine, any arbitrary time from about 2:20 works. That should have been the start of doing Challenge Quest 2 with various teams. You can even skip past that slightly since that's just trolling with an artsmeme team again and then it gets into 1-3* team building.

Yeah, it's not like this event has been all that hard if you've been playing for a bit. I just got my 150 day bonus. The last couple of days it's taken a couple tries to get the enemy class pattern and then build a counter to it, but I took down Jeanne & Co with Fergus (3 star) Nobu (charity), Vlad (5 star), Robin Hood (3 star) and Mash (charity). CE's were Limited/Zero Over, Lil Halloween Devil, Threefold Barrier (MLB), The Imaginary Element, and Happy x3 Order.
It wasn't even a close fight. All three backrow servants were in play, but nearly full health when I won. A weaker team might've would've been a harder fight, but very doable.
Okita just utterly wrecked this floor. Tamamo and Waver were to bring down the Assassin enemies but otherwise Okita was the star. Caligula's special ability would have been a problem had he not been brought down to 2K health on the first turn.

Day 5:
Lancelot+Kscope / Waver+2030 / D'Eon+Iron Willed Training / Plugsuit+Orion+Imaginary Element
Lancelot helped get enough of a lead on Wave 2 to clear things out while D'Eon tanked, Plugsuit in Orion and she did like 230k to Caligula on entry, fight was easy enough after that.
I'm pleased! Day 6 and 7 don't look -too- bad all things considered.

So I skipped to him setting up the first team. And he's laughing while saying, "This is totally a Free to Play team guys. Those CEs aren't all limit broken." And he's got every single Servant I can see max evolution and max level. Most with high level skills. And then he fails the quest anyway. Now he's making a team that has 4 star Servants and CEs in it. And a max level/evolution 3 star that released like a week ago. With almost maxed skills, too. Next team is all 5 stars?
