    Today's shooting at a high school in #Parkland, Florida is the 18th school shooting so far this year, according to gun control advocacy organization Everytown For Gun Safety. It's February 14th.

    This is where the 18 comes from. Includes any instance where a firearm was shot on any type of campus (including college), regardless of number of people injured (including zero) or intent of the shooting.

    Which IMO is fair to do, because even if it accidentally discharges and hits nobody, what the fuck is a gun doing at school in the first place?
