Listen:

100% of the time I've been to any PAX, anywhere, I've attended the PAX East Fancy Dinner in 2017. Because no one else is man enough to do it I'm going to make sure it happens again in 2018. This is a thread for making that happen and it will be updated and modified as needed.

FAQ!

When is it?

It's going to be Friday, April 6th at something PM.

Where is it?

We don't know yet. Some place in or around Boston that serves food and drink and caters to the fanciest of lads and lasses.

How much will it cost?

TBD, but likely $60-$80 or so. You'll need to get that to me at some point before PAX. Venmo will work, as will other things.

What do I, as a fancy fellow, need to do right now?

Tell me if you're coming. The crone who's guiding me in this told me I need to get a headcount soon. Tell me if you have a +1.

Is there more to come?

    So I probably can't commit to this. I'll probably still be at the con with IRL friends, but how late do you guys usually go with this? Do you guys ever end up in a more crashable state after the food has been consumed?

    It's about 20min from the convention by car; if we're eating in Cambridge again it'll be closer. It's in Somerville

    Hello friends, it is two weeks away and we do not have a venue picked + only 7 (!!!) signups. Please ping your interest here if you plan to attend, and somebody please let me know what the name of last year's venue was! I'm reaching out to them and one other location to get pricing and availability so we can hopefully still make this happen... but honestly with less than 10 attendees it doesn't look likely. We really need another 5-7 ppl to sign up pretty much immediately, so if you're going to PAX East and want to continue this venerable tradition, now is the time to speak up!!
