Yes but WWE can write their characters however they want. Even if you're not going to have Sonya defeat Rousey don't just feed her to Ronda twice in a row. That kills her credibility. It just seems like setting a pile of money on fire to show off how much bigger the other pile of money is.

Deville is literally the only openly LGBTQ person on the entire main roster
It may not be intentional by WWE but I can for sure see fans who know about Rousey's views and are very invested in Sonya because of her openness being bummed as fuck over this.

Going way too far with the notion that Ronda now can't have a match with Sonya or something... She was a face who beat down a heel. That's not the same as something like a squash match and in one week you could bring Sonya back to being competitive. In fact I'm thinking this is leading to a tag match if I had to guess, putting Ronda with Natalya for a bit makes good sense whether they were feuding or teaming.
I see it more as they are getting moved to smackdown, so it’s easy way to make Rhonda look dominant without actually hurting anything. But even if I’m wrong someone has to job while they set up the programs they want her in.
