I am reading the reviews. Something tells me I will not enjoy this movie.

Eh its fun if you pretend you're not watching a movie about Peter Parker and Spider-Man.

In the same way that I can enjoy Mission Impossible movies if I pretend they're really James Bond movies? Or in the same way that it's not really fun no matter what I do and you were just trying to soften the blow?

Well some parts are so bad it make me want to die and other parts make me laugh so hard that it makes me want to die (even if that wasn't the scene's intent.) Still other parts make me just go... "well that didn't make any sense at all"

There's an opening parenthetical bracket but no closing one. Syntax error, cannot translate. A rift of grammatical quandaries and stale british pastries opens, and I step inside. It is warm, and mildly pleasing to the palate. I shall build a fort out of overstarched midget pants, often mistaken for shorts.

The rift closes just as it opened. A mystery, but one that bears no further attention. It is done. I enjoy my new home; my new fort. A pie challenges me to a game of shuffleboard. I accept.

I didn't think it was so bad. I mean, I was pissed off at the roots of the story, and the dance scene felt stupid, but it was a fun time at the movies.

I loved the douche-Peter segments of the movie.

And really, if the symbiote simply magnifies existing traits, you would kind of expect Peter to be even more of a clueless nerd while wearing it.

I thought the jazz club scene was shit hot

However, the movie needed a scene that showed the extent of the the corruption the symbiote had on Spider-man

One thing that straight pissed me off were the reporters toward the end
