    I haven't had time to really pay attention to Fencing's but it seems very complicated and prone to player fatigue. Now this is a first impression and not based on any real knowledge. It could be incredibly fun.

    I suspect Phalla is just exposing those people who have a tendency to overreact or take things personal. It just speeds up the process that is normally decided by when a thread they really care about comes up.

    Though Phalla has given me a lot more to talk about with certain people and built up some shared experiences which is nice.

    I do think the pacing is part of the problem, honestly. We don't know how long it's going to take, and yeah, the fact that players aren't being eliminated that often leaves a lot of people sticking around for a long time. I really love the concept, but it's hard to be that into it when barely anything changes from night to night.
