My Boss and I went nuts. We've got almost two of each. The creek behind the shop is great with the Storm Launcher. It's just all around badassery. Hours of fun. I just started looking at mods for these things. Theres some badass ones out there on the web. Adding LED's and power mods and shit. I'm thinking we get some modded nerf guns and stick a guy on the ground trying to shoot down planes. Add some beer to this and it could be all day fun. Then start chasing the dogs and you just can't go wrong for entertainment.
The conversation? Cool new toys that you have or want.
This is my baby.. I tend to stick with things on the ground. It is a speedy little truck though, gets some good air on speed bumps, and great donuts in the parking lot.

oh man, I have the one in the second picture down.
So fucking fun to fly.
Hint - to make it fly way, way better, pull the bottom wings off. The turn radius becomes noticeably larger, but you'll have much, much more level flight and control.
Man, I used to build model RC cars (The kind you buy as a big box of parts, and build yourself) and I've been itching to get back into it, but didn't want to add another money sucking hobby to my lifestyle. This may be a good way to go about it.

oh oh oh
When we were ineptly flyin' our Christmas planes in the park, these 2 dudes and a little kid came out with their self-assembled plane, and were flying it around all expert like. They were really good, kept it up there for like 5 or 10 minutes before it got out of range or ran out of juice and made a soft landing in the street.
Then a pickup truck ran over it. Twice.

At which point, you should have turned around to face them and yelled, "OH BURRRRRRRRRRRRRN!" as loud as possible.

The cool thing about the Traxxas truck I have, is that I can take it totally apart, upgrade, swap out parts.. it's really neat, and most of the parts are pretty cheap if I were to break anything. (I've rolled the truck more times than I care to count.)

I felt bad for them, especially the little kid, but I also wanted to point out that although my plane only stays in the air for about 10 seconds at a time, at least it is still vaguely plane shaped.

yeah, we were just talking about RC stuff the other day
oh fuck what was the name of that fucking RC thing with the tracks, that you could control either side independently? I loved that. Wonder if I can find a working one on ebay or something.

tRank: We broke the Aero Ace bipe already. It took a nose into the side ofr a log and one rotor stopped spinning. We weighted the Jet though and it works great. Right till the wind took it from me onto a roof. They're so light the wind just takes em away. we're thinking of adding the extra motor from the Bipe to the jet .
tAll : They are a blast and for 30-80 dollars it's fairly inexpensive. The planes are pretty rugged some times, and they're a blast to fly.

I should get a new one.
The battery exploded or something and we could never get it to work again.
remember in mad max how there was a dude named goose
he was way better than top gun goose
Those things are so fun to mod.
Paint, shave off some bits to make easier to reload, etc.

sometimes.
No, he fucking didn't, did he?
See, I have a nerf gun with a laser sight on it.
Kitty likes to chase the red light.
Kitty gets popped with the dart.
But I can see how it would work with slowing down their scratching tendencies.
Meh, I'll just terrorize them with it, they'll just scratch stuff up while I'm asleep anyways. :P
