Soundcard in; USB Out

So I recently picked up some small laptop speakers to use on my pc. I didn't realized until I got home that the speakers were usb, and my goal was to use them for my xbox360 (for which I have a RCA->minijack converter) as well as the PC. Is there anyway to take the input from either my mic port (yuck) or line-in and pass it straight to the usb speakers for output?

Edit: God I love VLC, I managed to open the input stream and play it locally. I can't, however use directsound for my Teamspeak I/O now, so I'll leave this open in case there's a better suggestion.

Edit the 2nd: Aaaand there's a significant delay when using VLC so that's a no-go for gaming.
