I picked up the whole Vanguard
The paint is a bit sloppy in places, but the faces are really solid

I dont think I've ever seen any Destiny merch.
I did some quick testing running around Io grenading Taken. It's a pain in the ass because of how long the cooldown is but I was getting I think like ~600 without the AW and~1800 with it.
But it's really weird to figure out what is going on because sometimes there are two damage numbers, sometimes only 1. I've seen videoes that suggest anywhere from a 33% increase to a 50% increase to maybe a 300% increase?
In PvP it seems to make for a quick grenade->tap with something->dead combo.
I'm not sure it's actually good though, even with this because the damage is only single target and still feels too low imo even with the boost. It's basically "instantly mostly kill a yellow bar". Except thermite will kill that yellow bar too and anything that comes near where the grenade landed too and the only trade-off is it's a bit slower and has to apply to the ground.
Agreed from my testing so far. I feel like if it made your fusion grenade recharge faster through some mechanism or other it would actually be really solid even without a base damage boost to fusion grenade. Sure it would be a mostly single-target boom that does ok damage but if you could throw them out super frequently it would be a legitimate alternative playstyle and probably tons of fun.

The Milestones yesterday gave 15. You got 10 for completing the Lost Sector with 5 Renown and 15 for the Milestone. I'd assume that it would be the same for today but I haven't heard confirmation.

Throw a DO shader on it and see if Arach Jalaal notices.

It does the same thing as yesterday, why?

Like "this is a second job" levels of time
So, doing some public events that, then haunting a lost sector still works?
Yeah, I thought my PS4 was broken the first time it happened. Glad to hear it's not just me.
Yup. You still earn Renown from Public Events, High Value Targets, and Patrols. You still "spend" it by completing Lost Sectors.

Thanks, that was not clear to me.
Hm, let's see...
50 ranks at 20 tokens apiece, that's 1,000 tokens
1,000 tokens / 7 days = 143ish tokens per day
Ummm yeah, that's...a lot. Especially creeping slowly through Lost Sectors with 5x debuff.
It is a lot. Maybe not "actually a second job" but yeah. I spent roughly 6 hours last night, not really min-maxing (did Spire of Stars which offers a few tokens as well as working on Heroics and ornaments) and I earned 260-some-odd tokens. So maybe closer to "second part time job" yeah.

They fixed that last week, so they're safe to pick up.

They (Clan XP) should be reporting the same number as your other powerful engrams. That was fixed last week.
The Raid/Crucible/Nightfall/Trials ones were downgraded in power intentionally.
If you're talking about the Clan XP Milestone, then no offense but that question was asked and answered on this very page.
If instead you're talking about the Vanguard, Crucible, Raid, and Trials Clan engrams, they aren't broken. Vanguard and Crucible Clan engrams will award gear at the same power as regular Legendary engrams. Raid and Trials Clan engrams can reward slight (0-2 point) increases over your current base power level. They no longer reward Raid or Trials gear though, rather they offer generic Vanguard and Crucible stuff.

Yesterday had the free 25 and a super easy daily milestone. Today is 3 strikes.
200 in 3 hours on one character?
I find that incredibly hard to believe. Even with yesterdays milestones.
6 hours for 260 seems far more realistic without actively doing the same thing over and over and over.
24 hours for ~1000 sure as fuck is a second job.

So that's pretty cool.

12 hours is still in second job territory.
And min-maxing these things would be mind numbing.
I'm working with 3 characters, so I am pretty sure I'll get 50 without a lot of struggle; though since I haven't played since the first rally, getting all the sets and then completing the ornaments is going to be hell.
Even for people doing it with 3 the system they have is stupid for unlocking stuff. Character specific, sets required, and still the same shitass rate of gear drops as the first rally did (still looking for the helm on my lock after 20 engrams, haven't even gotten a single one on my hunter).
So even with total min-maxing, 12 hours for rank 50, you're still looking at more than likely at least the same amount to get the sets and complete the ornaments. Less if you've only got one character, and less if you're fortunate enough to have a set from previous rallies.
And given the one faction per account restriction and the likelihood of 3 rallies this season, tops, that's still a fucking insane amount of time investment no ways around it.
An unreasonable amount.
Completely unrelated, I love how Xenos Vale IV, Anti-Extinction Boots, and Heiro Camo warlock boots all have identical (there might be a pixel or two difference) icons. :rotate:

I mean, I'm not arguing that the grind to get anything is good or anything. I'm finding the time investment requirement onerous myself. I don't want to get hung up on the semantics of "second job" though because I'm not really sure how you're defining that.
