It's E3, when big corporations tells us what shit they're planning to sell in the next year to raise investor confidence, and we consumers screech in childish anticipation of our meager rations of bread and circuses.
Dance, pathetic consumers! Cavort and gesticulate for your corporate overlords!

Cyberpunk looks like it's about the street level criminals, gutter punks, glamorous celebrity obsessed pop culture, corporate espionage, and a corrupt over-militarized government.
...which is basically exactly what it needs to be. That game needs to be about the big picture of the setting rather than just focusing on any one aspect.
Anywho, my thoughts on the big 3 announcements (for a huge Gears of War fan)
Gears Pop: Given they had Locust and COG fighting on the same sides/each other, I'm guessing it's going to be one of those kinds of games where you're collection famous characters who will all have some kind of star rating and you'll feed shittier characters to your better characters to make them even better, all while deal with 4-5 different sets of upgrades, all of which is dictated by a limited energy per day meter. Even if I didn't dislike Funko's, that would get a hard pass from me. I utterly hate those kinds of games.
Gears Tactics: Super bummed they're not putting it on Xbox, especially given X-Com's console version is the entire reason why I wanted this game. That said, holy shit, it's the game I always wanted. Love that it's two years after e-day and versus locust too. Can't wait to hear more but I'm guessing it's 2020 at the earliest.
Gears 5: Digging Kait being the main character; the visuals and non-combat setpieces look fucking amazing, and the new enemy designs are fucking gross as hell. Also, this little tease on the Gears website.
The world is crumbling. Humanity’s reliance on technology has become their downfall and enemies are uniting to wipe out all survivors. As Kait you must journey across the biggest, most beautiful Gears world to uncover the origins of the Locust, and fight with your squad to protect what’s left.
Been waiting since 2008 for them to finally follow up on the stuff they started to reveal in Gears 2 and basically never bothered to elaborate on.
Kinda curious what Jan/Abby/Jason are doing now that there are 3 engineers behind the scenes instead of 2 like usual. Are they doing more, or just splitting up tasks to be more managable?
All I remember is the Gears lady was voiced by Laura Bailey
The same ten or so voice actors are so persistently in everything that I'm pretty sure Steve Blum was the voice saying "EXCLUSIVE" at Microsoft's conference.

I definitely recognized Jamison Price in the Metro trailer, cause he voiced Sojiro in P5 and the le Commander in MonHun World.

One sad lady cover of Lockdown coming up
Holy shit, she isn't.
She wore a red beanie during the last game and I totally didn't notice she wasn't wearing it in that trailer.
Steam
It's literally mentioned twice in the post that informed you she was the main character!
Not a lady, but

He qualifies through a technicality.
I could see this happening in a cyberpunk story
I can't believe CD Projekt Red also hacked that businessman

Okay, now the battle royal trend has really gotten out of hand.
That's why Andrew WK is there. Party Distraction.
