Comic comments take a long time to load into main site.

Not sure if it's just a mobile issue, but when I click the show comments button under the comics it takes several minutes for them to load, if ever. Normally I'd post through the forum view but no thread exists yet for today's comic.
Edit: okay seems like maybe a mobile chrome issue. No matter how long i wait the loading bar never goes away, but if i scroll down to the bottom of the page and back up, a coupe seconds later it will and the comments and post box pop in.

I'll need to cross check this with some other sites using our comments and make sure its not something on the PA comic page that is interfering with script loading, which might be why scrolling fixes it (triggers loading more comments).
I'll look into it.
