We could change things to say he was there to purchase what he thought was a mundane but creepy painting. Maybe his degree was an 'easy' one in art history?
@AustinP0017 - Look, it's not personal, but trouble follows Michael. And while that's good for ratings, it's dangerous for everyone around you. You never know when the guy at the jukebox is just chilling listening to Blue Oyster Cult, or is totally a cultist with one of them weird axe-sword things that's going to suddenly try and kill Michael in the middle of his Grand Slam Breakfast after a long night of monster killing. Denny's is never going to be the same for Josh, Michael. He's never going to be able to look at another Grand Slam without seeing blood on his ham.
Was going through the thread to grab the histories to edit into my character profile, and I realized I never responded to say @jdarksun this is probably one of the best things I've read in a while
I am working on OP's now. On the original post here, you will find your basic move sheets. These are the things you can 'do' in the game. The system is very open and narrative, so there are many things where you will not need a dice roll, depending on the situation.
Please get me some nicknames for your groups to differentiate the threads. Standby.
Just to make sure I'm starting at the right place, the group knows each other, been working together for a while, and in general, everyone does their own thing/has their own place unless they meet up right?
Good question. They are not. They are taking place about a week apart. Fight at the Museum is the tail end of September, and Witching Hour is first weekend of October.

Yes, the history portion works out how everyone knows one another from previous things. I would assume that even if you don't have an defined 'history' with another player - you would still know them in passing, or at least know OF them.

Oh, I saw that. I meant in more general terms.

It is a safe bet that Briael doesn't, like, routinely hang out with you guys. Early Castiel, not bro-Castiel. :P

It's fine, we get all the bad rolls out of the way on stuff that'll enhance the narrative and then we don't have to think about it, just MagicPrime. Roleplaying EZ mode.
From a procedural perspective, should we be rolling when we think a roll will be necessary and ignoring it if it's not or wait until you tell us to roll?

As long as you think it fits one of the basic or hunter moves, go ahead and roll. We can always disregard.
You can play it off cool, like it doesn't hurt. That doesn't even require a roll, really. But there's no way to soak or resist damage outside of a couple specific hunter moves.
But look on the bright side! You did stop him from leaving! #fallingforward

Hmm
Maybe it was us, the seller (now eaten) and you as the facilitator and organiser then.

I dug the intro video : )
I think it's probably going to become a bigger thing that I haven't actually watched any real amount of Supernatural....
The Divine playbook draws pretty heavily on the most-major character outside the two protagonists, yeah.
You'll be fine. But as an aside, you should watch the first 5-seasons at least. Quality stuff.

Hold that last post. You are going to get a consequence from your miss.

I assume it would be the opposite effect of a hit though.
Which would lead to that situation regardless.
Namely, that guy looking delicious right now.

Also, maybe we should consider using an outside roller or something? Geth has given us double 1s on 3/5 rolls so far, which is ridiculous.
